"Baba said...The disciples should have firm faith, backed up by intelligence, and if they add patience to these, their spiritual goal will not be distant.".

Question :  How do I get close to Baba? How do I feel His presence and get assured that He is with me and will always be with me?

Answer :

You have to love Him. Keep Him as an image in your heart. Serve human beings and other living species as part of Him. The process is gradual but continue to try. You have to see His presence in all. He is all the time with you but you don’t know. When you will understand this totally you will surely feel His presence.

This miracle happened to me six months / eight months ago when I was doing saptaham of Baba Sai Leelamrutham (Telugu). I started reading the book on Thursday to end it by Wednesday. I generally feel satisfied if I could complete each days chapter in the morning hours being my mind fresh. Unfortunately if time does not permit I read the rest of the adyaayas in the evenings the same day. On Tuesday I could not complete the days adyaayas and so was about to start the rest of the adyaayas in the evening at around 1900 hrs in my pooja room (which is not more than 7 1/2 x 3 ft size). Naturally being evening time, afraid with the mosquitoes, we generally close all the doors and windows in the house. As I was about the start reading the left over pages to complete the days adyaayas, a sweet smell which I am unable to explain filled with flower fragrance surrounded me for about 10 minutes which i never experienced in my life time (even today). After 10 minutes the smell and the fragrance disappeared the same way as it came to my surprise. I asked my children whether the doors or windows were open and this experience is false. 

But to my surprise my children told me that the doors and windows are closed as it is they did not experience anything of that sort. Even today i wonder from where the fragrance and the smell came in the pooja room which is closed from all sides of the house. But I definitely feel that it is Baba's blessing in disguise showing me that he is with me always.
